Pipe connection
★ Ensure meticulous pipe socket connections by following these essential steps:
1. Prior to bonding, meticulously clean both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port to ensure precision.
3. Apply adhesive evenly: start with the socket and proceed to the pipe socket, ensuring a uniform and adequate coat.
4. Align properly, insert into the marked point with one swift motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure adhesion.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive remaining in the socket to maintain clean connections.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong and reliable connection.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict access to trained operators only.
2. Avoid open flames near bonding sites and ensure adequate ventilation to maintain a safe environment.
3. Refrain from construction at temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire for drying adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length accurately based on measured dimensions and connected pipe fittings. Choose fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision cutting. The cut must be smooth with no section deformation. For sockets to be glued, create a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. The groove length should be at least 3mm, with thickness between 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Ensure all debris is cleared post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, use cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone to clean excess adhesive. Allow the interface to cure according to adhesive characteristics and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
