Pipe Connection
★ Adhere strictly to the following procedures for optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Begin by meticulously cleaning both the pipe socket and the fitting socket before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly: start with the socket and follow with the pipe, ensuring an even coating.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked section in one motion, then give a 1/4 turn twist.
5. Thoroughly clean any leftover adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the joint is fully cured.
★ Follow these guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Only designated personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, using them strictly as needed.
2. Ensure there is no open flame near bonding sites, maintaining adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to expedite adhesive curing.
4. Personnel should wear gloves; if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer, based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Choose fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure the cut is smooth and deformation-free. File the glued socket part into a 15°-30° groove, maintaining a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean off debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, cleanse excess adhesive with cotton or dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow to stand until fully cured, adjusting for adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time in winter as needed.
