Pipe Connection
★ Ensure precision in pipe socket connections by following these meticulous steps:
1. Prior to bonding, ensure both the pipe socket and the fitting socket are meticulously cleaned.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port to guarantee perfect alignment.
3. Apply adhesive carefully: begin with the socket, then proceed to the fitting, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Align accurately, insert to the marked depth in one motion, then rotate 1/4 turn for secure fitting.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to remain standing until full interface curing is achieved.
★ Adhere to these important guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Only operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, ensuring restricted access to others.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites, with adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in conditions below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to accelerate adhesive setting.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. If adhesives contact the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on precise measurements and dimensions of connected fittings. Choose tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure flat, deformation-free cuts. File the bonding socket into a 15°-30° groove, with a minimum 3mm length and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. After grooving, remove debris for a clean finish.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, gently clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth using mild detergents like acetone. Allow the interface to cure fully, considering adhesive properties and climate. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
