Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by meticulously following these essential steps:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesives for optimal bonding.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe accordingly for precise fitting.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly, coating both the socket and fitting for a strong bond.
4. Align carefully, insert into the marked part in one motion, and rotate a 1/4 turn for secure placement.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to ensure a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the joint is fully cured for reliable use.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure a secure working environment:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free zone at the bonding site with adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using open flames on adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe length by layer, using precise measurements and dimensions of each fitting. Choose fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for a flat, undistorted cut. File glued socket parts into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Clean excess adhesive from sockets with a cotton cloth or acetone-dipped dry cloth post-connection. Allow the interface to cure per adhesive performance and climate, extending winter curing times as necessary.
