Pipe Connection
★ For optimal pipe socket connections, adhere strictly to the following procedures:
1. Ensure pipe sockets and fittings are thoroughly cleaned before applying bonding agents.
2. Measure the socket depth carefully and mark the pipe port accurately.
3. For adhesive application, start with the socket, followed by the socket, ensuring a uniform and appropriate coating.
4. Align correctly, insert into the marked position in one go, and rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Remove any adhesive excess from the socket to maintain integrity.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured for optimal stability.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives with the following guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to non-operators for safety.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure good ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves, and rinse eyes with plenty of water immediately if the adhesive comes into contact, seeking medical attention promptly.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each pipe fitting. Use fine-toothed saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure a flat fracture with no deformation. For socket bonding, file into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file. The groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
