Pipe connection
★ Strict adherence to the following procedures is essential for effective pipe socket connections:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket, and ensure even coating.
4. Align carefully and insert into the mark with a single motion, turning 1/4 to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to ensure a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until fully cured at the interface.
★ Adhere to the following guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Only operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents; use strictly as needed.
2. Ensure there are no open flames near the bonding site and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Wear gloves during application; if contact with eyes occurs, rinse with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length by layers, using precise measurements for each fitting. Choose fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a smooth finish. The section must remain undistorted. File a 15°-30° groove for the socket with a medium board file, ensuring it is 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Post-grooving, clear away any debris.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, gently clean the extruded adhesive with a cotton yarn or dry cloth, using solvents like acetone. Allow to cure based on adhesive properties and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter.
