Pipe connection
★ Ensure seamless pipe socket connections by strictly adhering to the following steps:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for accuracy.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and followed by the pipe, ensuring an even and appropriate coating.
4. Align the pieces, insert them up to the marked part, and rotate a quarter turn to secure.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring lasting strength.
★ Follow these key guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Only operators should use adhesives and cleaning agents, utilizing them as needed.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames at the bonding site.
3. Refrain from construction work in temperatures below -10ºC and avoid applying fire to adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek hospital treatment if necessary.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely, based on measurements and connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe machines for crisp, deformation-free cuts. File the socket adhesive area into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a length of at least 3mm, with groove thickness at 1/3 to 1/2 of the wall thickness. Clean debris after grooving for a faultless fit.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to cure in static conditions, adjusting for adhesive performance and weather. Extend curing times appropriately during winter construction.
