Pipe Connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by strictly following these meticulous procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket followed by the pipe, ensuring an even coat.
4. Carefully align, insert to the marked depth in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for a firm connection.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket exterior.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface has completely cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip workers with gloves. Should adhesive contact the eyes, flush with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Carefully determine the saw pipe length by measuring each layer and connected fitting dimensions. Utilize fine tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure cuts are smooth and sections undistorted. File the socket portion into a 15°-30° groove, with a length no less than 3mm, and a thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive properties and weather. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
