Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure and effective pipe connections by strictly adhering to the following standardized procedures:
1. Begin by cleaning the pipe socket and fitting socket carefully to ensure a perfect bond.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive thoroughly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe. Ensure an even, appropriate coating for maximum bonding strength.
4. Align the components, insert them to the marked depth in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn for secure attachment.
5. Promptly wipe away any excess adhesive to maintain a clean, professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive has fully cured, guaranteeing a lasting connection.
★ Follow these safety guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously. Limit access to trained operators only for maximum safety.
2. Maintain a flame-free bonding environment with good ventilation to ensure a safe working space.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using open flames to hasten adhesive setting.
4. Ensure all personnel wear protective gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, immediately flush the eye with ample water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Carefully determine the length of the saw pipe, layer by layer, using precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Opt for fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for the most accurate cuts. Ensure a flat fracture, free of deformation. File the socket end to a perfect 15°-30° groove, with a length of at least 3mm, and a thickness one-third to half of the wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving for a flawless finish.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket connection, gently clean the extruded adhesive with a cotton cloth moistened with a mild solvent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure in a static state, adjusted for adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time in winter to ensure a robust and secure seal.
