Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for a flawless pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure a pristine bond by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Precisely measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port for accurate fitting.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the pipe fitting, ensuring an even coating for seamless integration.
4. Align the direction carefully, insert into the marked area in one smooth motion, and rotate a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean off excess adhesive from the socket, ensuring a neat and tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured, achieving optimal strength.
★ Adhere to these vital safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents wisely, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Eliminate fire hazards by ensuring no open flames are present at the bonding site, and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid working in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Wear protective gloves during application, and if adhesive enters the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the sawing length of each pipe layer by layer, aligning precisely with measurements and connected pipe fitting dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean, undeformed cut. Groove the socket area for bonding at a 15°-30° angle using a medium board file, ensuring the groove is at least 3mm long and 1/3 to 1/2 the pipe wall's thickness. Remove debris for a flawless finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive with a dry cloth or cotton yarn dipped in detergent, such as acetone. Allow the interface to cure statically, taking into account adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
