Pipe connection
★ For a secure pipe socket connection, follow these detailed procedures meticulously:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure and mark the socket's depth at the pipe port carefully.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly: start with the socket, then the port. Ensure even coating.
4. Align properly, insert to the mark in one go, and give a 1/4 turn twist.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the curing process is complete.
★ To ensure adhesive safety, adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Only use adhesives and cleansers as needed; non-operatives should not handle them.
2. Ensure no open flames near bonding areas, and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction staff must wear gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water, and seek hospital treatment promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Define the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connection. Employ tools such as fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe-cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat with no section deformations. File the socket section intended for glue to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file. Groove length must be at least 3mm, with a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Wipe any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly soaked in a detergent like acetone after connecting the socket. Allow to set until cured, factoring in adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
