Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for a secure pipe socket connection:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before bonding to ensure a strong connection.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for accurate alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring even coverage for optimal bonding.
4. Align correctly and insert into the marked position in one smooth motion, giving a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket, maintaining a clean and professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface has fully cured, securing a durable connection.
★ Adhere to the following safety measures when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, ensuring they are handled by trained operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are near the bonding site, and maintain good ventilation to prevent hazards.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and never apply fire to the adhesive point, ensuring safe and effective use.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of accidental adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely according to measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings, using fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines. Ensure clean, flat cuts with no deformation. For optimal bonding, file a 15°-30° groove on the socket part, with a length not less than 3mm and a groove thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, gently scrub excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with a suitable cleaner, like acetone. Allow the joint to cure as per adhesive properties and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
