Pipe Connection Procedure
★ Strictly follow these steps for pipe socket connections:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket thoroughly before applying adhesive.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe end accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly-first on the socket, then on the pipe end.
4. Align properly, insert to the marked depth in one motion, and twist 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the joint is fully cured.
★ Ensure safe use of adhesives by adhering to the following guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed. Non-operators should not handle these substances.
2. Ensure good ventilation and avoid open flames at the bonding site.
3. Do not perform construction below -10ºC, and avoid using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Workers should wear gloves. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation Guidelines
Sawing and Grooving Pipes:
Determine the pipe length for sawing based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines. Ensure a flat cut with no deformations. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, with a length of no less than 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After connecting the socket, clean any extruded adhesive with a cloth dipped in a suitable detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure as per the adhesive performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time during winter.
