Pipe Connection
★ Follow these steps for optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth accurately and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the fitting socket.
4. Insert the pipe into the marked section in one smooth motion, aligning it and rotating 1/4 turn.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, ensuring their use is restricted to trained personnel only.
2. Ensure proper ventilation and keep bonding areas free of open flames.
3. Avoid undertaking construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to hasten the curing process.
4. Workers should wear gloves at all times. In case of adhesive spills into eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
For precise construction, determine the sawed pipe length based on accurate measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a clean, flat cut, free from deformation. Groove the socket area to be glued at a 15°-30° angle using a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After completing the socket connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow the joint to cure in accordance with adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing time as necessary for winter construction.
