Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise procedures for effective pipe socket connections:
1. Prior to bonding, meticulously clean the pipe socket and fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive with care, starting with the socket, followed by the fitting, ensuring uniform and appropriate coating.
4. Align the components precisely, insert them into the marked section at once, and execute a 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Thoroughly remove any adhesive leftover in the socket area.
6. Stand the newly bonded pipe in place until the joint has securely cured.
★ To ensure the safe use of adhesives, adhere to these important guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricted to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain an open-flame-free environment at bonding sites and ensure adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC; refrain from using fire to dry the adhesive point.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length by measuring each layer according to the connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure a flat fracture without section deformation. File the adhesive socket into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with a groove length not less than 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post socket connection, cleanse extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with detergent like acetone. Allow to rest until cured, extending curing time during winter based on adhesive performance and climate conditions.
