Pipe Connection
★ For optimal results, the pipe socket connection process should adhere to the following precise steps:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring even coating throughout.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked section, twisting 1/4 turn for secure fitment.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for a reliable seal.
★ Ensure safe adhesive use by adhering to the following guidelines:
1. Limit adhesives and cleaning agents to essential use only, restricting access to trained professionals.
2. Maintain an open flame-free environment at bonding sites, ensuring adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction activities at temperatures below -10ºC, and do not apply direct heat to adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse with ample water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Opt for tools like a fine tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine for clear cuts. Ensure a smooth, undeformed section. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, with a length no less than 3mm and thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean up debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, use cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent, like acetone, to clean extruded adhesive. Allow to cure based on adhesive performance and climate; extend curing time in winter.
