Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal pipe socket connections by following these precise procedures:
1. Thoroughly wipe the pipe socket and fitting socket clean prior to bonding for a seamless connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port to guide the bonding process.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously, starting with the socket and then the socket, ensuring uniform and appropriate coverage.
4. Align properly, insert the pipe into the marked section in one swift motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive remaining in the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety provisions for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaners as needed; restrict use to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip construction staff with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with copious water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Cut pipe lengths precisely based on measured dimensions and the fittings connected. Select fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure fractures are flat with no sectional deformation. File socket parts into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file; grooves should be at least 3mm long and 1/3 to 1/2 the thickness of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving for optimal bonding.
Socket protection:
After connecting, clean extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or dry cloth using a mild detergent like acetone. Keep static until fully cured based on adhesive performance and climate conditions. In winter, allow extra time for curing.
