Pipe connection
★ For optimal pipe socket connection, adhere strictly to the following expert procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and make a precise mark at the pipe port.
3. Apply the adhesive meticulously, starting with the socket before proceeding to the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Align carefully, insert the pipe to the marked depth in one smooth motion, and rotate it by 1/4 turn for optimal bonding.
5. Gently wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket to ensure a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface has completely cured for secure connections.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives by adhering to these vital precautions:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Accurately determine the length of the saw pipe per measurement for each pipe fitting connection. Employ fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure cuts are flat with no deformation. Achieve a flawless 15°-30° groove on the socket section with a medium board file, maintaining a depth no less than 3mm and thickness between 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Post-grooving, thoroughly remove debris for optimal results.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, meticulously clean any extruded adhesive with a cotton yarn or dry cloth moistened with a suitable detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to stand still to cure according to adhesive performance and climate conditions, extending curing time appropriately for winter construction.
