Pipe connection
★ Ensure precision with pipe socket connections by adhering to the following meticulous procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for seamless alignment.
3. Apply adhesive efficiently: start with the socket, then the fitting, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Align correctly, insert into the marked area in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to the following essential guidelines for safe adhesive use:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly; restrict access to non-operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment with good ventilation at the bonding site.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length according to precise measurements and the dimensions of each fitting. Opt for fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precise cuts. Ensure the cut is flat with no section deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove for optimal bonding. The groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket connection, wipe away any excess adhesive with a cloth or cotton yarn moistened with a gentle solvent like acetone. Allow for proper curing according to adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for best results.
