Pipe connection
★ Ensure pipe socket connections are meticulously executed by following these precise steps:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before applying adhesive.
2. Measure socket depth accurately and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly—first to the socket, then to the fitting, ensuring an even coat.
4. Align correctly, insert to the marked point in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the connection is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to accelerate curing.
4. Equip workers with gloves. In case of accidental eye exposure to adhesive, wash thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe length based on layer-by-layer measurements and fittings' dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure cuts are flat and sections remain undeformed. File the socket end into a 15°-30° groove for bonding. Groove length should be at least 3mm, with thickness at 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean any excess adhesive using cotton or dry cloth with a bit of detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time for winter construction.
