Pipe connection
★ Ensure pipe socket connections are meticulously performed by following these essential procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive carefully: first to the socket, then to the pipe, ensuring an even and appropriate coating.
4. Align direction precisely, insert to the marked part in one swift motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for optimal results.
5. Clean any adhesive residue from the socket for a pristine finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; non-operators should avoid handling.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid constructing below -10ºC; do not fire-cure the adhesive point.
4. Construction personnel should be equipped with gloves. In case adhesive contacts eyes, flush with copious water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe layer by layer, based on accurate measurements and dimensions of connected fittings. Opt for fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure a flat fracture with no deformation. File the socket to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, making sure the groove is no less than 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris once grooving is complete.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean the extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or dry cloth slightly moistened with acetone or similar detergent. Let it remain static until the interface cures as per the adhesive’s properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time for winter construction appropriately.
