Pipe connection
★ Precision in pipe socket connections is achieved by adhering to the following meticulous procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and appropriately mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive, starting with the socket, followed by the fitting. Ensure an even and suitable coating.
4. Align accurately, insert to the marked depth, and rotate by 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy joint.
6. Allow the assembled pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ For safe adhesive usage, adhere to these key guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting use to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free bonding area with adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and never use fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Ensure personnel are equipped with protective gloves. In the event of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Carefully determine the pipe's length per layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Employ fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts, ensuring a flat, deformation-free section. Create a groove of 15°-30° on the socket area to be bonded, with a length no less than 3mm and a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, gently clean excess adhesive with a cotton yarn or dry cloth dipped in detergents like acetone. Allow the joint to stand still until fully cured, adjusting curing time accordingly during winter construction.
