Pipe connection
★ To ensure a secure pipe socket connection, meticulously follow these essential procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying the adhesive.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port for accurate installation.
3. Apply the adhesive methodically: start with the socket, followed by the pipe end, ensuring an even and sufficient coating.
4. Carefully align the direction, insert the pipe up to the marked point in one smooth motion, and execute a 1/4 turn for optimal adhesion.
5. Swiftly remove any excess adhesive from the socket area after insertion.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive interface is fully cured, guaranteeing a robust connection.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure safe operations:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously. They should be handled only by trained personnel.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment and ensure proper ventilation at the bonding site.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC. Do not accelerate bonding with open flames.
4. Equip construction staff with gloves for protection. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The saw pipe length is determined based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connecting fitting. Select tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for the task. Ensure a smooth fracture with no section deformation. The socket area can be filed into a 15°-30° groove with a medium file, not less than 3mm long, and the groove thickness should be 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear all debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive properties and climate. Extend curing time during winter construction.
