Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure pipe socket connections by meticulously following these crucial procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before beginning the bonding process.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accurately.
3. Apply adhesive evenly; start with the socket and proceed to the pipe, ensuring a uniform coating.
4. Align carefully and insert into the marked area in one motion, followed by a 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the secure use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as required, restricting access to operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry the adhesive.
4. Workers should wear gloves; if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe's length precisely based on measurements and connected pipe fitting dimensions. Select appropriate tools like fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure a flat fracture with no deformity. File a 15°-30° groove into the socket area for gluing, with a length not less than 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove any debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to remain static until cured, considering adhesive properties and climatic conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter construction.
