Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise steps for pipe socket connections to ensure optimal results:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before bonding them together.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Carefully align the direction, insert into the marked area in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn to secure.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat connection.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a secure connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to authorized personnel only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to dry adhesive joints.
4. Always equip construction personnel with protective gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine each saw pipe length based on precise measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Employ fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for a clean cut, ensuring no section deformation. File the socket end to a 15°-30° groove, maintaining a length of at least 3mm and thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After completing the socket connection, clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a bit of detergent like acetone. Allow it to stand until fully cured, considering adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time during winter construction as needed.
