Pipe Connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for a successful pipe socket connection:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Precisely measure and mark the socket depth to prepare for accurate joining.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly; start with the socket followed by the pipe fitting socket, ensuring even coverage for a robust connection.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked point in one motion, turning it 1/4 turn to lock in place.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean and tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured, securing a durable bond.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, minimizing risks to non-operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment with excellent ventilation at the bonding site for optimal safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC; refrain from using fire to accelerate the adhesive process.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of eye contact, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Carefully determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for a clean cut. Ensure the fracture is even and free from deformation. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with a groove length of no less than 3mm and thickness between 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for a pristine finish.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, gently clean any extruded adhesive with cotton or a dry cloth moistened with detergent, like acetone. Allow to cure according to adhesive properties and weather conditions, extending curing time during winter to ensure maximum bond strength.
