Pipe connection
★ Achieve perfect socket connections by following these precise steps:
1. Ensure both pipe sockets and fittings are thoroughly cleaned before applying any adhesive.
2. Accurately measure and mark the depth of the socket on the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously: first on the socket, then on the pipe, ensuring an even coat for optimal bonding.
4. Align carefully, insert fully into the marked section, then rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket area to maintain a neat appearance.
6. Allow the bonded section to stand undisturbed until the adhesive has cured completely.
★ Safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, ensuring they are used as needed.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment with good ventilation at all bonding sites to ensure safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to expedite curing.
4. Equip workers with protective gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths accurately based on measurements and dimensions of connected fittings. Utilize tools like fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure flat cuts without deformation. Prepare socket areas with a 15°-30° groove depth of 1/3-1/2 pipe wall thickness, ensuring grooves are at least 3mm long. Clean thoroughly post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, use cotton yarn or dry cloth with mild detergents like acetone to clean excess adhesive. Allow to cure undisturbed according to adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing times in winter to ensure full bonding.
