Pipe Connection
★ Ensure optimal performance by following these imperative socket connection procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and fitting before bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and proceeding to the pipe, for an even coat.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked section, executing a 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket surface promptly.
6. Position the bonded pipe upright until the interface is fully cured.
★ Follow these safety measures for adhesive use to ensure a risk-free environment:
1. Use adhesives and cleaners judiciously, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Ensure personnel are equipped with gloves; in case of accidental eye contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on accurate measurements and the specifications of each connecting fitting. Opt for fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure clean cuts. The cut should be flat without sectional deformation. File the socket area to be glued into a 15°-30° groove, maintaining a length of no less than 3mm, and a thickness of one-third to half of the pipe wall. Clean debris thoroughly after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, meticulously clean extruded adhesive using a cloth slightly moistened with detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure in accordance with adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
