Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by following these precise procedures:
1. Clean the pipe and fitting sockets meticulously before beginning the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for perfect alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive methodically: coat the socket first, then the pipe socket, ensuring an even and adequate coverage.
4. Align the directions meticulously; insert the pipe to the marked section in one go, followed by a 1/4 turn rotation for secure fitment.
5. Clear any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured for optimal performance.
★ Ensure the safe usage of adhesives by adhering to these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents sparingly, and restrict access to non-operators for safety.
2. Maintain an open-flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring proper ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to speed up adhesive curing.
4. Equip personnel with protective gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length with precision for each layer, using exact measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Opt for fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to achieve a perfectly flat fracture with no deformation. File a 15°-30° groove on the socket with a medium board file, ensuring a length of at least 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear away debris post-groove for a pristine finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse the socket area using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a touch of acetone-based detergent. Let it remain static until fully cured, as per adhesive properties and climate. Extend curing time appropriately during winter installations for optimal durability.
