Pipe Connection Guidelines
★ Follow these precise steps for pipe socket connections:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align and insert the pipe up to the marked depth, then rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the joint area.
6. Allow the joint to cure by standing the bonded pipe until fully set.
★ Ensure safe use of adhesives by adhering to these guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaners as needed, restricting access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames near the bonding area.
3. Do not construct below -10ºC, and avoid using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Construction workers should wear gloves. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Comprehensive Installation Instructions
Precision Sawing and Grooving:
Determine the pipe length based on exact measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure flat, deformation-free cuts. Create a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving.
Effective Socket Protection:
Post-socket connection, clean off extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in acetone or similar detergent. Allow the joint to cure, considering the adhesive's properties and climatic conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
