Pipe connection
★ Adhere strictly to the following procedures for pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly; start with the socket, followed by the fitting socket.
4. Align and insert into the marked section in one motion, rotating 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket carefully.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives by following these guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricted to trained operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames near the bonding site and maintain proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction staff should wear gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe length based on precise measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Select tools such as fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. File the socket end to a 15°-30° groove, with a groove length no less than 3mm and thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Ensure all debris is removed after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dampened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure statically, adjusting curing time in winter construction for optimal results.
