Pipe Connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by meticulously following these procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe and fitting sockets before applying any adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly to ensure precision.
3. Apply the adhesive first to the socket and then to the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe into the marked depth, completing with a 1/4 turn rotation to secure.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive remaining within the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure optimal safety:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents sparingly and restrict usage to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction activities in conditions below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to cure adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves and, in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe based on precise measurements and corresponding pipe fitting dimensions. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for a smooth, deformation-free cut. File a 15°-30° groove on the socket part to be glued, ensuring a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear away any debris after completing the groove.
Socket Protection:
Post-socket connection, clean off extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the socket to remain static until cured based on adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
