Pipe connection
★ For optimum performance, follow these strict procedures when connecting pipe sockets:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, first to the socket and then to the fitting socket.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marking part in one smooth motion, turning it a quarter turn.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, and keep them away from non-operators.
2. Ensure good ventilation and avoid open flames near the bonding area.
3. Do not construct below -10ºC, and never use fire to expedite adhesive curing.
4. Construction personnel must wear gloves, and if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe based on measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines. Ensure the cut is flat with no deformation, and file the socket part to a 15°-30° groove. The groove length should be at least 3mm, and its thickness should be 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean off debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with a cotton cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure based on adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time during winter construction.
