Pipe Connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for a secure pipe socket connection, ensuring optimal performance:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and fitting to ensure a perfect bond.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and carefully mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously, first on the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Align properly, then insert and twist 1/4 turn to secure the bond.
5. Carefully clean off any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Ensure safety when handling adhesives by adhering to the following guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaners responsibly, restricting use to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment with adequate ventilation at bonding sites.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip workers with protective gloves. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
To achieve precise pipe lengths, measure carefully and use fine saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure smooth, flat cuts without deformation. File socket areas to a 15°-30° groove, typically at least 3mm in length and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean thoroughly after filing.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any excess adhesive with acetone-dipped cloths. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
