Pipe Connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps to achieve optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and the fitting socket before beginning the bonding process.
2. Measure the socket depth accurately and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Uniformly apply adhesive, starting with the socket and then moving to the fitting socket.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe into the marked section in one fluid motion, then rotate it by 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Immediately wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these essential safety guidelines when handling adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as necessary, ensuring they are handled exclusively by trained personnel.
2. Maintain proper ventilation and ensure bonding areas are free of open flames to prevent hazards.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to accelerate the curing process.
4. Workers should wear protective gloves. In case of adhesive contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention without delay.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the sawed pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a clean, flat cut devoid of deformation. Groove the socket area to be glued at a 15°-30° angle with a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris post-grooving for a pristine finish.
Socket Protection:
Post socket connection, meticulously clean any extruded adhesive with a cloth dipped in a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on the adhesive's performance characteristics and prevailing weather conditions, extending the curing time appropriately for winter constructions.
