Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for pipe socket connections:
1. Clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure and mark the depth of the socket on the pipe port.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe socket.
4. Insert and align in one go, turning 1/4 of a turn for a secure fit.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Ensure safe use of adhesives with these guidelines:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; non-operators should avoid handling them.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames at bonding sites.
3. Do not construct below -10ºC, and avoid heating adhesive points with fire.
4. Wear gloves during construction. If adhesive contacts eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate medical care.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on measured dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for cutting. Ensure a smooth cut with no deformation. File the socket part to a 15°-30° groove (length ≥ 3mm, thickness 1/3-1/2 of wall thickness). Remove debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or dry cloth dipped in detergent (e.g., acetone). Allow the interface to cure according to adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
