Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal performance and safety by adhering to the following socket connection procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before proceeding with bonding.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe end.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and followed by the pipe, ensuring even coverage.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe, rotating 1/4 turn upon reaching the marking to secure the bond.
5. Immediately remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded assembly to stand undisturbed until the adhesive fully cures.
★ For safe adhesive use, please comply with the following guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, ensuring only qualified operators handle them.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment with adequate ventilation at bonding sites.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to expedite adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the pipe length layer by layer based on exact measurements and the specifications of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. Create a 15°-30° groove on the socket portion using a medium board file, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear away any debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, gently clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a light detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure undisturbed according to adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
