Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, the pipe socket connection should meticulously follow these procedures:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket thoroughly before proceeding with bonding.
2. Carefully measure the socket depth and accurately mark the pipe port.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly and judiciously, painting first on the socket and then on the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align properly and insert into the marked section in one decisive movement, twisting 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures.
★ Adhere to these safety protocols for the secure use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents sparingly and only as needed. Unauthorized personnel should avoid use.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site, and maintain excellent ventilation conditions.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction workers must wear gloves. In case of accidental eye exposure to adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Each pipe's sawing length is precisely calibrated based on measured data and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for an impeccable cut. Ensure the cut edge is flat and free of deformation. A socket intended for adhesion should be beveled into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with a minimum groove length of 3mm and depth of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Thoroughly clear away all debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive using a cotton yarn or dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Let it remain static until fully cured, factoring in adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
