Pipe connection
★ Ensure precision and reliability with our pipe socket connection guidelines, designed for strict adherence:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket to prepare for bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive with care, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe socket, ensuring a uniform and adequate coating.
4. Align the direction accurately, insert into the marked position in one smooth motion, and make a 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand and cure at the interface, ensuring optimal adhesion.
★ Adhere to the following safety provisions for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, ensuring access is restricted to qualified operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves for protection. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length with meticulous precision, based on measurements and dimensions of connected fittings. Employ fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines, ensuring a flat fracture and avoiding section deformation. For optimal bonding, file the socket area into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. The groove should be at least 3mm in length, with the thickness being 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. After grooving, ensure all debris is cleared away.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, cleanse excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to remain static until fully cured, taking into account adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
