Pipe connection
★ Ensure proper pipe socket connections by carefully following these detailed procedures to achieve optimal results:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket to ensure a strong bond.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port for precision alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive carefully, coating the socket first, followed by the pipe socket, ensuring an even and appropriate application.
4. Align the pipe direction meticulously, insert it to the marked point in one smooth motion, and rotate it by a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Gently wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to remain upright until the interface has fully cured for maximum strength.
★ Adhere to these essential safety guidelines when using adhesives to ensure a secure working environment:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Eliminate open flames near the bonding site and ensure optimal ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length methodically, based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected pipe fitting. Opt for tools such as a fine tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine to ensure a clean cut with no deformation. The socket portion for gluing should be grooved to a 15°-30° angle with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and a groove thickness between 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. After grooving, meticulously remove any debris to ensure a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth slightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to remain static, adapting curing time according to adhesive performance and climatic conditions, especially extending during winter for complete curing.
