Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, ensure pipe socket connections follow these meticulous procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding to ensure a secure connection.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for accurate alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring even coverage.
4. Align the directions carefully, insert into the marked part in one swift motion, and rotate by 1/4 turn for a secure connection.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured, ensuring a robust join.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure optimal safety:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting use to trained operators only.
2. Maintain good ventilation and ensure no open flames are near the bonding point.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and never use fire to bake the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and connected pipe fitting dimensions. Choose fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for sawing. Ensure a flat fracture and avoid deformation. File the socket part into a 15°-30° groove, at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. After grooving, remove all debris for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or dry cloth with a bit of detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to cure statically, adjusting time based on adhesive properties and climate conditions. Extend curing times appropriately for winter constructions.
