Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise steps for secure pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe socket.
4. Insert the pipe into the socket aligning with the marking, then rotate it 1/4 turn to ensure a secure fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive has fully cured.
★ Ensure safe adhesive usage with the following guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames at bonding sites.
3. Avoid constructing below -10ºC and never use an open flame to heat adhesive joints.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe lengths based on precise measurements and connected fitting dimensions. Use fine tooth saws or pipe cutting tools for clean cuts. Ensure flat and deformation-free sections. File the socket part into a 15°-30° groove, with lengths not less than 3mm and thickness 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean away debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive using cotton yarn or dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure as per adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
