Pipe connection
★ For optimal performance, ensure the pipe socket connection follows these meticulous steps:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe and fitting sockets before applying the adhesive.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe end to ensure precision.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly, coating both the socket and fitting for a seamless bond.
4. Insert the pipe into the marked position with alignment, twisting it 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat and effective seal.
6. Allow the bonded assembly to stand until the adhesive is fully cured for maximum strength.
★ When using adhesives, adhere to these safety precautions:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, using them as required.
2. Ensure excellent ventilation and keep open flames away from bonding areas for safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction workers should wear gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The precise length of the saw pipe is determined by accurate measurements and the dimensions of each connecting fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure the cut is flat with no deformation. For an ideal fit, file the socket end into a 15°-30° groove. The groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean away all debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean off any excess adhesive with a cotton cloth lightly moistened with a solvent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure undisturbed, adjusting for adhesive and weather conditions. In winter, extend the curing time appropriately for best results.
