Pipe connection
★ To ensure robust pipe socket connections, meticulously follow these procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port for precise installation.
3. Apply adhesive by first coating the socket, followed by the socket, ensuring an even, appropriate spread.
4. Align perfectly, insert to the marked point in one swift motion, and rotate by 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Carefully wipe away any remaining adhesive in the socket to maintain a clean seal.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface is fully cured for optimal strength.
★ Ensure adhesive safety by strictly adhering to these guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves and, in the event of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length with precision, accounting for measured dimensions and each connected fitting. Opt for fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts, ensuring no deformation. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, maintaining a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Post-grooving, remove any debris for a pristine finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Permit static curing based on adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing time appropriately during winter.
