Pipe connection
★ To ensure a secure pipe socket connection, follow these meticulous procedures for optimal results:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean the pipe socket and the fitting socket to ensure a seamless connection.
2. Measure the socket depth accurately and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive with care: start by coating the socket, then the pipe end, ensuring an even and adequate application for a secure bond.
4. Align correctly, insert it into the marked section in one smooth motion, and rotate by 1/4 turn to secure the connection.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket immediately to maintain a tidy and efficient seal.
6. Stand the bonded pipe upright until the interface is fully cured, ensuring the adhesive sets properly.
★ For the safe use of adhesives, adhere to the following critical guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting usage to trained operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation to ensure safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use open flames to hasten adhesive curing.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves for protection. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Define the saw pipe length for each layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of connected pipe fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts, and ensure no deformation at the section. File the socket part to a 15°-30° groove, with a length not less than 3mm, and a thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving for a seamless fit.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a cloth slightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Let the socket remain static until fully cured, accounting for adhesive properties and climate. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
