Pipe connection
★ Follow these rigorous procedures for effective pipe socket connection:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket meticulously before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth at the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly—coat the socket first, followed by the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align correctly, insert fully to the marked point, and rotate it by a quarter turn.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has thoroughly cured.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives by adhering to these guidelines:
1. Only operators should use the adhesives and cleaners, and only as needed.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames near the bonding site.
3. Construction should not occur below -10ºC, and avoid using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Personnel must wear gloves; in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical help.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The pipe length is determined layer by layer based on actual measurements and fitting dimensions. Use suitable tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat with no section deformation. File the glue socket into a 15°-30° groove with a medium file, ensuring grooves are at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Clean all debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or dry cloth with a detergent like acetone. Allow it to cure according to adhesive performance and climate, extending curing time for winter construction.
