Pipe Connection
★ Ensure strict adherence to the following procedures for pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly-first to the socket, then to the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align the direction, insert to the marked depth in one go, and rotate 1/4 turn.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the adhesive cures.
★ For safe adhesive use, comply with these guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to non-operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to dry the adhesive.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on measured dimensions and connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure a flat cut with no deformation. File a 15°-30° groove in the socket area with a medium board file; the groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After connecting, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a bit of detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter.
