Pipe connection
★ Master the art of pipe socket connection by meticulously following these precise steps:
1. Prior to bonding, meticulously clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive with care, starting from the socket to the fitting, ensuring an even and adequate coat.
4. Align precisely, insert swiftly to the marked point, then rotate a quarter turn.
5. Neatly remove any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface cures completely.
★ Adhere to these essential safety guidelines for using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, and restrict their use to trained operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are near the bonding area and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. For eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with copious water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and dimensions of connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines. Ensure a flat fracture without deformation. File the socket to a 15°-30° groove, at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness, removing debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow to remain static until the interface cures per adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time in winter.
