Pipe Connection
★ Follow these steps to ensure optimal pipe socket connections:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly to ensure precision.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket and then moving to the fitting socket.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked section in one smooth motion, then rotate it 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Immediately wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket to prevent mess.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is completely cured for a strong connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when utilizing adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, ensuring they are handled by trained personnel.
2. Ensure proper ventilation and maintain bonding areas free from open flames.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to hasten the curing process.
4. Workers should wear protective gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical help.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the sawed pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a clean, flat cut without deformation. Groove the socket area to be glued at a 15°-30° angle using a medium board file. Ensure a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris after grooving for a perfect fit.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with a cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure based on the adhesive's performance and prevailing weather conditions, extending curing time appropriately for winter constructions to ensure maximum durability.
