Pipe connection
★ Follow these strict procedures for a secure pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned before proceeding with bonding.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and clearly mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply adhesive methodically, starting with the socket, then the pipe, ensuring an even and appropriate coating.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked area in one motion, followed by a 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong, lasting connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; non-operating personnel should not handle them.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site, and maintain good ventilation to ensure safety.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the size of connected fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for smooth cuts. Ensure the section is flat and un-deformed. Create a groove using a medium board file at a 15°-30° angle; the groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall's thickness. Clear any debris post-grooving for optimal results.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, gently clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a small amount of acetone or similar detergent. Allow it to stand until fully cured based on adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
